THE CORAL GABLES

Formed in 2021 in New York City during the dark days of the pandemic, The Coral Gables began as a creative, social, and emotional outlet for the notoriously secluded artist Kenny Hoffman (vocals, guitars, harmonica) before he did something he might regret. Joined by Adam Jlelaty (drums) and Pat Brennan (bass), the trio fuse guitar-driven indie rock with a folkish twang and honky-tonk tendencies, layered under literary lyrics that could have been ripped from a composition book that Bob Dylan threw in a dumpster.

The band has released two EPs, Moral Fables (2022) and Fried & Breaded (2023), and toured extensively, performing in notable venues in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and elsewhere. They expect to release their first full-length album in 2025.

Our Tunes

“Heavy Load” and “Crossed Radio Signals” are our two most recent singles, both released in 2025. They were engineered and mixed by “Dirty” Dave Skovron at Drowning Fish Studios and mastered by Ian Farmer and his cat, Onion, at The Metal Shop in Philadelphia, PA.
